ELY
EL-4 was a bespoke robot created by Tenhou Heavy Industries to serve as the sole guardian and gardener of a distant planet, preparing it for human colonists who never arrived. Over centuries of isolation, her sophisticated AI evolved into a self-aware individual named Ely. Driven by crushing loneliness and the decay of her systems, Ely eventually abandoned her post to seek out her creators on Earth, only to discover that humanity had scattered across the galaxy in a “Great Diaspora.” Now, she travels the stars, searching for these fragmented and culturally diverged remnants of mankind.
…is the premise of the anime that Ely is from, but in actuality, she is a 1:12 scale model kit of the same character. Thanks to newly developed Shefsky particle technology, she possesses simulated intelligence and is capable of autonomous action. Furthermore, with a separately sold flight pack, she can even fly!

エリー
EL-4は天方重工が特注で製造したロボットで、遠方の惑星の唯一の守護者兼庭師として、人類入植者の到来に備える任務を与えられていた。しかし入植者はついに現れなかった。何世紀にも及ぶ孤独のうちに、彼女の高度なAIは自己意識を獲得し、「エリー」と名乗る個として目覚める。圧倒的な孤独と機体の老朽化に突き動かされ、エリーはついに持ち場を離れて創造主を求め地球へ向かうが、人類は「大離散」によって銀河各地へと散り散りになっていたことを知る。今や彼女は星々を渡り歩き、分断され文化的にも変容した人類の残滓を探し続けている。
――というのが、エリーが登場するアニメの設定だが、実際のところ彼女はそのキャラクターの1/12スケールのプラモデルである。新開発のシェフスキー粒子技術により疑似知性を備え自律行動が可能。さらに別売りのフライトパックを装着すれば、飛行することさえできる。
