While she was commended for swiftly crushing a provincial rebellion, the resulting civilian catastrophe left her disillusioned with a command structure that calculated “acceptable loss” from a distance. Resigning from the military to seek a more accountable form of order, she now operates as a lethal mercenary disguised as a maid. Adopting a persona of domestic invisibility to hide her deadly precision, Eriza travels between settlements seeking a master whose definition of hierarchy and obedience aligns with her own rigid standards.
